New World Resources N.V. ("NWR"), Central Europe's leading hard coal producer, announces that Alex T. Krueger has resigned from the Board of Directors of NWR (the "Board") today. Mr. Krueger served on the Board since 15 August 2006.Mr. Krueger is a managing director of First Reserve Corporation, which he joined in 1999, and currently serves as a director on the boards of Whitehaven Coal Limited and Foundation Coal Holdings, Inc.The Board and management of NWR would like to thank Mr. Krueger for his time and services provided to NWR and we wish him well in his future business ventures.
